Stargazer is launching two new eye products, sexy eye tattoos and paper eyelashes, which I got the chance to see at Cosmoprof Bologna. Here they are:
I bought the Rose paper eyelashes for € 4:
As you can see, they don’t come with a plastic box like other Stargazer lashes, but you can cut the transparent plastic around the white one to get a storage box. The cardboard back has some instructions in English and what should be French, Italian and German (I thought Peitschen meant whips?! :D).
The lashes are not heavy at all and the glue provided holds them in place for hours. You will need to trim the base of the lashes before applying them, to fit your eye. Being paper, they’re a bit more delicate than regular false eyelashes so I’d suggest you to practice a bit positioning those before trying paper eyelashes. Stargazer paper lashes are reusable if you remove them carefully.
Here’s a quick look I made with Stargazer’s paper eyelashes and the pink and purples in the Vivid Eyeshadow Pallet:
Final verdict: even though they are not as detailed as the famous Paperself lashes, they also cost a fraction of the price and are equally stunning, so I can only recommend them.
Bonus tip: when paper eyelashes start to ruin, you can use them to decorate your nails, as manicurist Tom Bachik did on Anne Hathaway’s nails with Paperself Deer and Butterfly lashes.
