Today’s duochrome is Twinkle Star, no. 70 from the Shine Tech line by Deborah Milano. It’s one of the five duochromes which Deborah defines “Scarabée effect”, no. 69-73.
The main colour is a dark metallic hue, two easy coats here in full sunlight:
In indirect light instead, it gets lighter and shifts from steel grey to a cold gold, olive tone, to green and blue. The colour shift reminds me of a grey Chanel Péridot.
I like the big round brush, the coverage and of course the shade itself. It’s not the usual grey-green, instead it gives a nice twist to those colours (and a couple more), without having to hunt for the duochrome effect at all. The only downside to it might be the retail price of € 7,80 for 8,5 ml, not that cheap, but I really wanted the Scarabée Effects and this hasn’t disappointed me at all.
I’m sure my friends will show you some more good nail polish so remember to drop by, with the button below. See you next Friday with other duochromes!
